M.L. King Statue
Located at North of Walnut on King Dr. Milwaukee 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Co-sponsored by Peace Action Wisconsin and Milwaukee NAACP.
Dr. King was assassinated exactly one year after giving his historic speech against the Vietnam War at Riverside Church in Mew York. Many believe that his powerful stance against the war and his organizing for economic justice was more than the government could tolerate. Join us for this commemorative vigil.
